One of our recent assignments in Traditional animation was to design an animal then then animate it jumping. We were given the animal at random and I was lucky enough to select the platypus.

My designs initially were pretty boring

So i went and studied different character designs and designers to try to figure out what makes a successful and unique character.

In the end i feel like i could've selected a better design for the story i wanted to tell and for the animal in general. I did however like my overall story even though the animation isn't too great...
